How do you play Chronophoto?

Each round shows a real photograph. Slide or type the year you think it was taken, from 1900 to today, and submit. The closer your guess, the more points you get: up to 1,000 per photo and 5,000 for a perfect game of five.

Is there a new Chronophoto every day?

Yes. The Daily has five new photos every day, the same for everyone, and resets at midnight your time. Your days played, streak and best score are on the Stats screen.

What is Unlimited mode?

Unlimited lets you play as many five-photo games as you like. In Settings you can narrow the photos to a range of years.

How does Party mode work?

Everyone who enters the same 10-character passcode gets the same five photos, so you can play together with friends and compare scores.

Is Chronophoto free?

Yes, it's free to play in any browser on your phone or computer, and there's also a Chronophoto app for iPhone.
